I was inspired to paint this piece because of the dramatic light on the cliffs and trees. The challenge with a painting like this is not to get caught up in painting every crack and crevice that one sees. The ideas is to simplify the scene and paint the essence of it. This original oil painting was painted on an archival linen panel and is framed with a beautiful custom frame. The painting is framed in a dark wooden frame with warm undertones and a gold fillet and is ready to be hung on your wall.
