Original artwork description:
Painted on site on a wonderful October morning on Viking Bay Broadstairs. The sun was up above the jetty so most of the scene was in silhouette, which was what inspired me to paint the scene. Unfortunately I thought the tide was going out not coming in, so had to move back up the beach and the boats were floating before I'd finished.
Painted en plein air with top quality pigments on heavyweight rag watercolour paper
image size 13 x18inches. I find this size frames well in a ready made 16 x 20 in frame available in several stores.
