A depiction of the very few seconds before full wakefulness where the dream lingers. The child could be anyone, and I attempted to capture in the portrait elements of the peter pan and the dream world he's just
leaving. This piece had just won the 'Peak District Young Artisan of the Year' award for 2013 and comes unframed but on a box canvas (looks better unframed).
