Original artwork description:

This painting/ drawing uses Indian Ink and ink made using Bideford Black mineral. The image is a taken from a view I regularly see near Cotford St Luke, near the Swan Lake I visit on the Minehead road. The view encompasses a group of trees and bushes by the lake from early in the morning in August.

The image was created using a trap of collected water and a pipette to add the material and draw the fine lines across the card, exploring and playing with layering layers of ink across the surface, allowing these layers to dry in between.
