This drawing is intended to be both a tribute and a personal study on the cupid painted by Sandro Botticelli in the famous painting "La Primavera". The elegance of Sandro's drawings, his technical expertise and the refinement of the subjects and details always leaves me speechless when I see his works from life. I was interested in seeing if through dynamic painting it was possible to further enhance a subject already perfect at the start and present in the collective memory.
The work is original and signed, handcrafted with graphite on 120g / m2 Fabriano paper, wrapped in a transparent envelope and shipped flat, between two layers of shockproof cardboard. The signed certificate of authenticity is attached.
I am available to carry out studies and portraits on commission, contact me for more information
