This drawing is part of a series of studies started in 2018. I like to draw animals, studying them is as if I feed on their purity and their harmony.
I wanted to try to make intuition as light as a cloud, through a design that is impalpable, volatile, without rigid outlines but capable of condensing in some points, and dissolving in others. I find it extremely stimulating to combine these characteristics with a subject, interacting with it. This giraffe so elegant as it turns to one side looked beautiful and perfect to me.
