"Time is now, it is past and future; Time is the image of infinity, the projection of an idea, a container of entropy and rigor.
The artist perceives it and transforms it into metaphor; Blends it with thoughts and from these captures contrasted visions of the intimate human.
Through photographic manipulation there can be everything and the opposite of everything; As dreams create absurd connections Nikolina entrusts her fantastic characters with the task of confusing reality and leading the spectator beyond the sphere of the known.
Landscapes, still life, skeletons, and animals tell about emotions and soul moods; They represent the complicated visions of the human mind.
The trees have roots in the earth but not in heaven a bit like man in his hypothetical life cycle.
Pumpkins, elephants, pears and fish share the same environment, the same fable.
These dream ferryers repeat themselves in variable patterns as they do in everyday life, intercepting intimacy, conflict and metamorphosis.
What exists decides it for the imagination without, however, ever omitting a bottom of truth that links the logic to the irrational."
