Original artwork description:

This is a quite unusual view on the Malecon in Havana, Cuba, being recognizable only for those, who was there. No touristy sight, but an authentic view of the busy esplanade on the Cuban shore. The twilight has dawned upon Havana and the streetlights turn on grasping only blurred parts of the cars scurrying by like ghosts in a high tempo.

This one-of-a-kind original is painted with oil paint in a gestural, loose and impressionist style with a prominent paint texture. The brushwork and the palette knife strokes are clearly seen on the surface of the painting and thus enriching it with a unique liveliness and artistic expression of a handpainted original.
