Original artwork description:

Dusk at Uig Isle of skye.
A moody painting depicting dusk over the bay and village of Uig on the Isle of Skye.
With this painting I have endeavoured to capture the ever-changing light patterns which can be experienced on Skye especially during the winter months.
The pier at Uig is currently under construction and is being enlarged. I have painted it as it was prior to work commencing.
This painting was painted off and on over a period of weeks and the paint layers have built up fairly thickly especially on the middle ground sometimes the photograph doesn't pick this up.
The painting is ready for framing and has been coated in two coats of protective varnish.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint with some texture medium
