Original artwork description:

Sunset always seems to create the most interesting sky colours across the clouds reflected beautifully in the sea.

I simply had to stop and do some quick pencil sketches and make comprehensive colour notes to jog my memory as the sun began to set. My aim was to capture the play of light which is so fleeting in an oil painting.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Dusk At The Moorings is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity. The frame is 85mm wide and is painted white giving a white grain effect. It has beading around the outside.
