Original artwork description:

I had an urge to paint from life and I almost set up a still life. But the setting up was tedious and the light was fading. It was, in fact, a beautiful soft pink sky outside. I looked at the vastness and openness of it, and, responding immediately to the yearning, grabbed some pastels I had recently bought and began to paint! There was, in that moment, an incredible focus and joy! It was so natural and pure.
