This painting depicts the stunning rose window in Durham Cathedral. Originally created in the 15th Century by Richard Pickering and reworked in the 18th Century, this window portrays Christ surrounded by the apostles, and by the 24 elders from the book of Revelations.

This hugely detailed painting will absorb the viewer for hours. The colours are extremely vibrant thanks to the highly pigmented paint and the tiniest of details have been captured with a fine pen. It forms part of a wider collection of works exploring modern society's relationship with religion.
