Original artwork description:

A view of Duntulm Bay on the North end of the Isle of Skye.
This painting represents a view looking along the shore from beneath the castle.
There is a lot of history in this area from clan warfare to legends and tragedy and even dinosaur footprints.
I have tried to create a feeling here where brooding skies and the encroaching sea reflect the atmosphere and history of this atmospheric place.
This painting was done in oils with an acrylic glaze over it.
It has a fairly heavy texture applied to the foreground.
This picture has been framed as shown.
