Inspiration: The Dutch coast is located on the edge of a huge drowned land: Doggerland. Due to global warming, more and more ice melted further north and slowly but surely the area became submerged. About 8,000 years ago, the water stopped at the precursors of our current beaches. At least, until now. Current climate change and sea level rise will cause new changes in the landscape.
The changing light during the day makes the gold and silver texts more or less stand out. As a result, the painting changes over the course of the day, just like the beach and the sea.
The artwork is ready to hang and does not need a frame because the sides are painted. This abstract seascape can be framed in a blank wooden frame on request.
