Large Abstract Diptych Painting

Made in 2019, Drift is a large, abstract painting across two canvases, made using oils, acrylics and grit. The paintings measure 61.5 x 92 cm each. When displayed side by side the total measurement is 127 x 92 cm which leaves a 4 cm gap between the two.

Working with materials and processes that lead to unpredictable outcomes in her recent series of paintings, Hannah explores the theme of the Sublime through its power and uncertainty, looking for ways to bring herself and audience close to this transcendent quality.
