Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by my trip to the North Sea, on the island Helgoland and its satellite Düne. A calm, peaceful and wild place where one can be as close to nature as possible.

For this painting I used complementary colours, which look especially bright on the gray background of sky reflections. There is some glittering oil paint used as well, to show the sunrays dancing on the water.

30 x40 cm, oil on wood panel, ready to hang, with a white border about 2 cm deep. Varnished. Signed on the back.
