As you know deer are my favourite animal!! Fallow deer are one of my favourite because of their beautiful spotted coats. I used the spotted coat for the background and foreground and it turned out so well and the handmade wood frame finishes it off nicely.
'The Dreamy Roe Deer' was a dream to paint and draw. The deer is drawn in a stippling style and the paint is an abstract style, like the spotted coat the fallow deer has. The painting took many hours to create, drawing thousands of dots to create the cute little roe deer.
