This piece is from the artist's LABYRINTH series of paintings.

Many newly made labyrinths exist today, used by modern mystics to help achieve a contemplative state; walking among the turnings, one loses track of direction and of the outside world, and thus quiets the mind. In the same respect, these new paintings became therapeutic in their creation ~ the intricate lines and assorted choice of colors representative of the artist's frame of mind.
