It's a land where you can hide your secrets and your sorrows, it will remain a wonderful nostalgic location where birds sing melancholic songs.

This series of paintings is called "Flirtation with reality".
It's an evocation of nature and countryside, an evocation of natural landscapes, I made the realism more obvious than in the other paintings, pushing further the borders between abstraction and realism.
The hues used are less flashy, less colour contrasted (the transitions between colours are more subtle), tinted with a touch of melancholy. I want it more romantic, with a lingering feeling of nostalgia, but in a poetic way.


"So Long Dreamland..." is painted with acrylic on canvas (standard cotton), it is signed on the front, and will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
