I grew up on a dairy farm, and we made wonderful milkshakes and ice cream cones from the cows' milk. My mother especially loved the heavy cream that she'd whip into whipped cream for her coffee. I wasn't too fond of taking care of cows, but I'm sure all that milk, butter, and beef made me and my siblings such hearty individuals! And right now, I sure would like to make that most wonderful summer dessert, a berry trifle!!
