Original artwork description:

It can be wonderful being a life model when you get to lie down on the job. This female nude is posed to create a peaceful resting pose. The legs up in the air settled over a sofa (invisible) crossed at the ankles. The head slightly turned to the left with a meditative blissed impression. Closed eyes. Left hand resting on the stomach, right hand above the head with the hand curled.

Talk was of the long day had behind the bar. Rugby matches bringing in big crowda. This was a chance to rest and dream.

The drawing goes to the edge of the paper. White and black conte pastel on pink sugar paper 41 x 30 cm (16 x 12"). It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in cardboard depending on where it is being sent to.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.
