Exaltation of the desire for the -beautiful- to want to attain and possess at all costs, " and if it is not possible to permanently marry the intercourse of the flesh to possess its miraculous effects, then we are helped by the abstraction of the forms of the beautiful itself that also conquers and satisfies us in every moment through the memories photographed in the mind. The moon next to the female body represents its own hidden world. The moon is the soul, it is our way of experiencing emotions, desires, dreams. The earth is reality, the place to struggle with "regrets" and "disappointments."
The stylized compositions are the explicit attempt to "escape from the real" world, immersed in the most absolute stillness and received as a sequence of photograms that, through the various color tones in obvious contrast to each other, seem to intend to still offer us some connection to our world.
If the dominant theme is the female nude, this in turn is reproduced in various attitudes that suggest voluptuousness, transposition of the desire for possession from reality into thought, a source of perennial remembrance for all that has been loved and greedily desired.
Published and reviewed several times. The canvas on which the work was made is framed, the edges are finished, and it is ready to hang.
