"Dream Waves" is a seascape that uses an abstract arrangement of colors for each ocean wave, from vibrant green, to cobalt turquoise, to a rustic earth tone. The contour of the light reflections on the water vary between each wave, resembling the refraction of light through various media and giving this work a surreal, dreamlike quality. The orange of the wide, open sky contrasts with the blue tones of the water while conversing with the rustic wave, uniting the composition into a harmonious entity.
