'Dream Catch Me' is an original painting on black plexiglass created using a mix of techniques with the build up of layers, acrylic paint and inks to create texture and depth. This abstract painting features a striking palette of colours including metallic and iridescent paints, blue, green, red, purple, yellow and orange.

This painting is part of my Torn Series, which continues my textile inspired theme with the idea of fabric remnants with pieces and sections that have been torn or cut.

Plexiglass is an unusual and a challenging surface to paint on - two of the reasons I choose to work with it! :-) I also love the reflective qualities of the surface and the 3d-like aspect it gives to my work.

This abstract art is created on high quality black plexiglass. The plexiglass has a back frame, which is not visible, and is ready to hang. The painting sits approximately 9mm off the wall due to the back frame, giving an almost 3D effect.
The painting is varnished.
The work is signed on the front and the back.
A Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
