The fells in Cumbria offer their own moods depending on the weather conditions...

This piece shows the fells as a rainstorm is coming in and the energy felt in nature. I have firstly built up thick texture on the canvas before applying acrylics and watercolours to create the depth of the art.

Painted white on the edges and strung at the back ready for hanging, the art has also been varnished.

Beautifully tactile and colourful art.
