Artwork description:

This is a three block colour lino print of a dragonfly on bramble flowers and leaves. The main image is printed in graphite coloured printing ink with a touch of black added. The other two colours, cerulean blue and yellow, are heavily diluted with extender in order to make them more transparent. The intention was to make it resemble a pencil and watercolour sketch.

The style owes something to art nouveau which I have always loved.
