Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired after hearing the famous Welsh harpist, Catrin Finch, born in the village we now live in. Catrin has, perhaps more than any other person brought the harp out from the back of the orchestra with its fairy like twinkles to a place of world wide importance once more. She has encouraged a gathering of harpists from all corners of the world to play with full fervour. No longer the weak 'also ran' but now the fiery Welsh Dragon of the music scene.
The Welsh Dragon is the symbol of the Welsh people, proud in ways and traditions, strong in purpose and courage.
