Original Contemporary urban painting of a downhill street view.

I drove down to astoria last week to paint plein air. This is the view down one of the streets to the columbia river at the distance. This is by far the most complex plein air I have attempted. It did need a bit of reworking in the studio but I was happy with the atmosphere and color I captured en plein air.

Painted with artist grade archival materials.

Materials used:

Water soluble Oil paints, brush, stretched canvas.
