Original artwork description:

An atmospheric oil painting, based on a sunny afternoon at Croyde. I wanted to create a feeling of happiness and warmth, that I felt sitting on the rocks looking out to sea. I created the atmosphere by rubbing on the oil paints and building up layers of paint then scratching into it. Really enjoyed creating this painting and I hope you like the results.

Materials used:

Birchwood panel, oils, wax medium, linseed oil.
