The strongest bond between language and matter is found in state law. Its written document regulates the psychical actions of the citizens and their relationship with the surroundings. It can be extended to empower individual verbal agreements by signing contracts, which can be understood as language transcending into the physical realm. The dotted line is an instrument for the individual to step out of its fluid subjectivity and connect to the hard kernel of reality.
