Here’s something I’ve previously rehearsed, but on a different paper. This is painted on a raw paper, which takes the paint quite differently from a pressed paper. The idea is based on some fabulous pictures I took of these two graceful ladies … when my eye caught the backless shirt of the one here in yellow… But I digress! This is an exercise in expressive movement , body language and form .
The close up pictures give a better sense of the paint, paper and the brush stroke. Then there’s the work in progress. Then there’s me with the painting for perspective.
