This painting is one of my large scale portrait works, done with acrylics over stretched canvas.
In these expressive close-up portraits my intent is to get beyond the regular facial features, catching clear psychological emotion. Hopes, dreams, pain, disappointment and such, all of them too human emotional conditions are among the themes I'm working on.
The painting measures 80 x 120 x 2 cm. and is lacquered with protective varnish.
