This is an original oil landscape painting inspired by the breathtaking Dolomite Mountain, Italian Alps are also known as the "Pale Mountains"

The Dolomites are a world of wonder, from their jagged peaks and striking rock formations to their fertile meadows and sparkling lakes, it’s a place that inspires awe and elation. They are universally considered “the most beautiful mountains on Earth”.

It features beautiful colours, with pinks and oranges dominating. The tops of the mountains are the predominant feature in this painting. The great diversity of colours is provided by the contrasts between the bare pale-coloured rock surfaces and the sunset reflecting on them. The tints are harmonious and create a sense of calmness.

I use the highest-grade archival materials in creating this artwork to ensure that this painting is ready to withstand the ages. All of my Originals come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. The painting is unframed, it is wired in the back on the stretcher bars and ready to hang.
