Part of a series of studies exploring visual languages of value. This is an empty can of Dole pineapple juice placed on top of a damask pattern cloth. It was done from life, and is a meditation of modern values atop classical ones, and how our surroundings in the modern era have changed accordingly. Here they are in rare form, in direct contrast.
