Painted in oils wet on wet, I tried to blur or haze everything going on around the dog and its friend to create a busy scene with time standing still for them.
The street person and his companion stand out sharply among the sea of legs, faceless passers-by footwear, shopping bags and warm clothes yet in reality we tend not to see street people or look the other way.
Dogs Life is dedicated to those that helped in my time of need.
With edges painted as part of the scene, varnished, strung and ready to hang.
