Original artwork description:

The famous Carmel Beach, with white sands and idyllic setting of gentle cove, edged by wind-carved cypress trees and bluffs topped with quaint cottages, is a great place to relax and play. Carmel Beach isn’t just a delight for people. This dog-friendly beach allows dogs off-leash. Canine visitors at Carmel Beach provide joyous entertainment, as they romp along the surf.

Materials used to create this work:
Gouache on paper mounted on 6"x8"x0.9" cradled Birch Wood painting panel. Cradles made from New Zealand Pine. Panels are tested for long-term warp resistance, making them perfect for an archival painting surface.

Gouache is very closely related to watercolor. It uses the same gum Arabic binder, but has more pigment which is not ground as finely as watercolor.
This painting is protected with a sealing wax medium, which is buffed to a luster finish.

The painting is unframed, ready to either be displayed standing on its side on a desk or a shelf, or to be hung on the wall. Ready to hang.

Kindly note that not all in-context (in a room) pictures provide a true sense of scale of artwork. Please refer to listing size: 6"Hx8"Wx7/8"D.
