Original pencil and pen and ink drawing of a dog walker drawn in May 2017, using watercolour paper, Indian ink, plus pencil and washes. This is a thoughtful but lively and expressive drawing with line variations created by the use of a variety of traditional dip pens (bamboo and sketching pens) and pencil, this gives the Artwork a fresh and immediate style where my 'working out' and underdrawing can be seen and enjoyed.

My simple ink drawings remain the backbone of my work and I will always return to them as they are often the basis and the inspiration for new work and ideas.

Materials used:

300gsm watercolour paper, Artists quality watercolour paints and Indian ink
