Artwork description:

A detailed suburban landscape linocut print. Dog walking is such a sociable activity, I have lots of interesting conversations and many of these encounters are drawn from memory and incorporated into my compositions. I like the artwork to reveal itself slowly, drawing the viewer in to investigate the details.

The print evolves as I transfer my drawing onto the linoleum with red carbon paper and carve into the surface intuitively, refining and adapting the image using sharp lino cutting tools.

A short edition of 20 hand prints, using the traditional printing method of rubbing a baren on the back of the smooth Snowdon 130gsm acid free paper to transfer the printing ink from the linoleum to the paper.

Each print is numbered, titled and signed in pencil, protected with glassine tissue paper and sealed in a cellophane pocket. Carefully rolled and lovingly packed in a stiff card triangular tube, insured, tracked fast delivery within the UK and 2 to 3 working days for Europe, 3 - 5 days Globally, so that it arrives safely and in perfect condition.

Paper Size: 42 x 42cm
Image size: 30 x 30cm

Please note you might not receive the number in the photograph and each print is handmade and has slight variations in tone and marks.
