A handmade 3 colour abstract wooded landscape reduction linocut print in mustard yellow, teal and denim blue

Every one of the 10 prints of the edition is unique, with the colours mixed individually this print is sold as a one-of-a-kind-artwork.

Our dog loves bounding free, exploring the woods, eventually he comes back and this activity provides the inspiration for my art work, which starts with a simple line drawing recalling the scene from memory.

Look closely and you will see crows, dogs, people, a squirrel, cows and sheep.

I transfer my drawing onto the linoleum with red carbon paper and carve into the surface intuitively with sharp lino cutting tools.

Using one block of linoleum, I cut and print the first colour and then carve into the block and print the second colour, carving again and printing the final colour, using a proofing press to transfer the printing ink from the lino to smooth Snowdon 130gsm acid free paper.

Each print is numbered, titled and signed in pencil, protected with glassine tissue paper and sealed in a cellophane pocket with hardboard support. Carefully and lovingly packed in a stiff card envelope, insured, tracked and guaranteed next working day delivery within the UK and 2 to 3 working days for Europe, 3 - 5 days Globally, so that it arrives safely and in perfect condition.

Please note you might not receive the number in the photograph and each print is handmade and has slight variations in colour, tone and marks. The print is supplied with a bespoke square soft white picture mount but it is not supplied with a frame.
