This is an original watercolor painted in July 2015, during my plain air painting session in Salzburg, the city known for the Sound of Music film and as the birthplace of Mozart. The Mirabell Garden in Salzburg is one of my favorite places to explore over seasons, as it is always top maintained and full of baroque floral arrangements. The gate painted here is famous as a place where the "Do-Re-Mi" song from the "Sound of Music was filmed in 1965.
It is painted on high quality Fabriano 300 gsm, and supplied with a white mount, ready to frame. For long lasting mounting of the artwork, I'm using acid-free masking tape from ProArt.
