Original artwork description:

This is a self portrait of my body, completed in pastel, on paper. This artwork was completed during quarantine, partly because of a lack of other subjects, and partly to experiment and look at myself introspectively. The artwork was created as part of the trend 'Buy a painting will ya?', to support artists. The gesture lines on the image are used to highlight the emotion of the subject. The resulting image is a dimly lit figure on a dark background, in a realistic, yet expressive style.
