Original artwork description:

The influences in this series of paintings are manyfold. In my time I've been very inspired by medieval knot patterns, science fiction, symbolism, how elements were forged to create the building blocks of life, and stained glass windows - they all come into play in the DNA imagery.
In this one I'm starting to leave a bit of mystery by not making the strands so clear.
