Large Australian abstract painting in black and white. Divination being the attempt to gain insight into a question or situation, in this case by the meditative repetition of a simple line delving into the visual language of dots, lines, circles, etc I have been building over the years with my abstract works. The work represents the marks made on the earth by farming and industry. A crazy patchwork of mark making inspired by boro and sashiko, the age old Japanese art of mending textiles with small stitches.
