I've been fascinated with the extremes that athletes achieve with their bodies, especially the gymnast, or diving. The concentration is incredible. Here in mid-air is Rinomg Pamg of Malasia, diving in the Barcelona Championships, 2013, proving that the world really does come together over sports, and those that defy gravity or at least use it to their advantage.

It was the beauty of the backdrop framing the art of the athlete that compelled me to do this one. Images are from YouTube, so thanks to screenshots, we can capture these moments, one twist at a time.
