Original artwork description:

As a child, on summer holidays in my father's mountain village, I often spent time with the village carpenter, fascinated by his work and wood. As an artist, I often collaborate with a carpenter who studied physics like me and who in my opinion is a philosopher. He loves wood and often begs me to take away the carpentry scraps before they are burned. In short, I began to love the waste pieces, in which I rummage and search. I call them "nuggets" .... they are precious. I presented works in recycled wood at Milano Scultura and also in the personal exhibition CREATIVE DESTRUCTION in Villa Borghese, at the Casina di Raffaelle, from June to September 2019. Using waste wood is love and respect for the tree we destroyed to create furniture. The random shapes come together in a sometimes unexpected puzzle. Composing it is, as with any artistic activity, a research activity in which you learn. P.S. the frame is part of the artwortk and you cannot change it.
