Original artwork description:

A soft, brushy landscape in deep, rich emerald greens and ethereal golden yellows. To create the misty, diffused light, I used long, sweeping brushstrokes, then gently swirled the wet paint with a soft cotton cloth. This painting was inspired by the sense of mystery and otherworldliness of gothic cathedrals, misty evenings and lakeside forests.
To construct this painting, I began with a wash of cadmium yellow, followed by multiple layers of verdant green glazing and gentle brushstrokes of white.
