Artwork description:

This is a linocut reduction print. The print was originally commissioned by a friend who loves blackbirds as much as me.
As often happens with friendships they come and go, life gets in the way, moves to different countries cause rifts and the eventual break of a wonderful closeness that can't continue due to the physical distances. I've conveyed in this image a solitary blackbird watching as his flock fly to far flung places, but as with all friendships worth keeping this blackbird will not stay distant for long!
This is a very limited edition of 8 prints all with slight colour and texture differences due to the fact they're all hand pulled. Please be aware that as these are handmade there are slight creases along the margins of the image, but these can easily be hidden with good framing.
