Heady holidays and hey days who would have thought that in 2020 we'd be worried we'd never be able to hit the beach again.

This painting was created from distant memories and old slides of holidays walking near Lulworth Cove. The beautiful blues of the sea and the bright pinks of the flowers on the cliffs.

Under-painted in pink to give a brightness and cohesion to the work (as small amounts of the initial layer are left to be glimpsed in the sea and land spaces.

Like all of my paintings as it is created in many layers the light bouncing off of the paint changes the tones, somedays it looks stormy and others as if there should be a rainbow somewhere in the bright sky.

Original painting in a white float frame with D-rings and hanging cord attached. Ready-to- hang. Will be wrapped in paper, bubble-wrap and cardboard for a dry and safe journey to your door. Signed for delivery.
