In this piece, my intention was to portray the short window of stillness that sometimes occurs before a Summer storm. Those moments between sunshine and cloudburst when everything becomes quiet and the air becomes so thick that it paints all that it touches with a subtle orange/pink glow; the calm before the storm.

Stretched canvas with painted, staple free sides; signed by me and ready to hang.
