Artwork description:

This plywood woodcut print brings together four African-Americans sitting together resolute in their determination to tell their story of slavery and their emancipation from it. The print has been created through the reduction printing method, of which only two prints were taken from the process, yet both prints are slightly different.

This one was pulled half way through the process of cutting. The print has been printed using an oil-based printing ink on cartridge paper.
